Organizing
a second open Jazz Jam Session for all members of the Baltimore Jazz
Musicians' Meet-up and any other interested jazz musicians (and jazz
lovers) in the area- bring your Real Book if you have one so we all
have a place to start. Open to players of all skill levels- Unitarian
Universalists of Fallston have let us have the church (small chapel
with really great acoustics- seats about 40). Adequately tuned
upright piano, small cocktail drum kit, and small PA for vocals and
electric bass to plug through provided. Guitarists should bring a
SMALL amp. Will have one mic with stand for vocalists. Mark Nolder
will brew up some coffee and tea and everyone can bring munchies if
they want. General public welcome to attend and listen. Last
month's jam brought out some really great performers! Hope to see you
then- spread the word!
